I have worked in a reputed MNC for a one-month period. However, due to some family reasons, I resigned from my job by sending a resignation email. After resolving my family issues, I requested a relieving letter from my employer. Unfortunately, they refused to provide the relieving letter, stating that they are unable to issue it for just one month of work. Instead, they suggested using the PF deduction as proof for future employment.
I have a question now: Is a relieving letter necessary for joining a new company, or can I rely on my PF details as sufficient proof?

PF contribution provides proof of your service with the MNC. Even the salary credited by the Bank, along with your appointment order, would suffice. However, they would have accepted your resignation or issued an order terminating your service, you can seek a copy thereof.
