Dear Sir,
One of our senior officers is an exempted employee of PF. Now, he is requesting that his PF be deducted from his monthly wages. He is ready to deduct both sides of the payment.
Can we do so.
Now my question is if we do so what will be his date of joining ?
Regards,

If he was an excluded employee (not exempted employee) because of his salary, and now would like to join the scheme on account of tax and other benefits, he can join the EPF but not Pension Scheme. The date of join should be the date on which he is given enrollment, ie, today's date only. Please collect form 11 declaring that he was not a member of PF in the past, and does not have a UAN, and enroll him. You can deduct 12% from his salary but you cannot deduct employer's contribution from it. Whatever be the employer contribution, you should deduct it from other deductions only.
