I am new to the HR role as all my earlier experiences are from the Admin department. My reporting head wants me to prepare an employee engagement calendar with the budget mentioned for that particular activity. I had made the same in an Excel format, but he disapproved; he wants it to be more specific and attractive. Can anybody help me with suggestions on how to do this and provide a list of activities that do not involve a high budget?

Here are few Employee Engagement Ideas or activities,
• Create your own internal magazine
• Celebrate personal wins like If someone on your team hits their monthly or quarterly goal, make it a win for your department or the whole company.
• Bring in a motivational speaker
• Make your team members feel special on their birthdays, work anniversaries, their first day of work, etc.
• You can organize for one day yoga coaching in office.
• Have a weekly food day
• Reward your employees (Like Employee of the month/Performance award)
• Go for fun outing (Like a movie/ Team Lunch/ a trip to resort)
• Conduct few indoor/Outdoor games
• Have Occasional Photo or Video Contests
