Hi Ditti,

It will automatically come under step ten (D8 or D10) when it goes to payroll for F&F. The authority to waive off the notice period varies from company to company. In some companies, only HR has the authority, while in others it's HR and the Personnel Head. In my company, if HR approves the waiver of the notice period, no one can challenge it. I hope this answers your query.

Dear Friends,

If an employee wants to waive off his notice pay, we have to take it in written form so that in the future we don't have any problems. We cannot show it in the F & F form. In most organizations, the Head of HR or HR Manager will approve it.

I hope you are satisfied with my answer.

I guess Ditti is trying to locate a flow chart that would meet the requirements of her organization.

Friends, processes are specific to an organization. I request everyone not to simply cut, copy, and paste the processes of one organization to another. Each organization decides its own systems and processes based on the business environment, objectives, and challenges.

Ditti, seek support, not solutions, because that is what you are hired for by the organization. Use all the inputs you have received from HR colleagues as support. Don't expect someone to deliver a ready-made product or solution to you.
