I like to say that can anyone please share with me the exit formalities for employees, like what documents should be filled out by the employee at the time of leaving the company? What is the systematic process of exit so that in the future, any grievances cannot occur? Please provide me with a soft copy for the same.

Dear Mr. Ankith,
If anyone resigns, first, we should counsel them to stay back by explaining the benefits compared to the future employer. If they don't agree to stay back, have an exit interview, make them fill out the no-due form, and then provide the relieving and experience letter. This should be done on the last date of their service.

Hi,
In addition to the above, please ensure that you collect all office equipment (e.g., computer/laptop, calculator, ID card, etc.) that were provided to the employee to perform their work. This should be reflected in the No Due Certificate. Also, please ensure that deductions such as the shortfall notice period and penalties for the loss of company property are taken into consideration in the full and final settlement. Additionally, in the No Due Certificate, the Technical Head of Department should certify that the resigned employee has completed the assigned work.
Thank you.
