PESTLE Analysis is one of the tools of business strategy. PESTLE analysis is used to scan the business environment. The business environment can only be monitored. Far from controlling it, we cannot even respond to it.
I conduct a 3-day training programme on "Strategic Analysis of Enterprise". This is the first tool that I use for the discussion.
This tool is generally used by seniors who have a general understanding of the business environment. Mere understanding of a particular industry is not sufficient. There is a questionnaire for the PESTLE analysis. This questionnaire is circulated among the seniors in a meeting room. Thereafter, point by point discussion is done, and risks arising from the business environment are identified. Have you done all this? If not, I recommend you do it first. Without this discussion, it is not possible to make a report.
