Could anyone explain to me as to how to get into HR field.I have done my B.com and pursuing my MBA from Symbiosis through correspondence. It woul really help me if someone could guide me on this.
The reply given is correct according to me
as associate is senior to the Assistant HR manager
but i have one query as many organizations use different terminology and the job profile is also not ditto, even the designations are similar.
so how to evaluate ? is there any common base ?

Hi Smitha,
As you said that you are currently pursuing your MBA in HR, you would have opportunities to start your career in the field of recruitment in small firms. You can simultaneously learn different work of areas in HR and then move into your interested area in HR. I have started my career in HR with Recruitments only. After being in recruitments for nearly 2 years, now I have moved to Core HR activities which consist of Recruitment, Training & Development and also HR Generalist role. So I feel that for freshers, who do not have any experience in HR, this would be a good channel to build their careers in HR. What do you say???? Please feel free to get back to me if you need any clarifications further.
