I would appreciate a few Training & Development pointers to be included in the company summit. This is my first time, and despite requesting the guidelines/expectations for the summit, I haven't received any response from my firm. I ran a search here too; however, I couldn't find anything relevant on T&D Presentation for Summits. If anyone here has given a T&D presentation at a company summit, please advise. Thank you.

Dear KVE,

What is the profile of the gathering/audience? Are they freshers? If so, is the majority of them comprised of a specific discipline? Are they Engineers/techies, scientists, executives, or junior/middle/senior management, or shop floor workmen? Which stream do they belong to? "Summit" is a common term. It also refers to high-level executives/apex body meetings. Could you please clarify this? Is this an overall curtain-raiser or focused on specific topics? Please provide details so that forum members can assist you with our contributions in your quest.

Hi,

Thank you for your response. This would be a summit limited only to our organization. So, I guess I could say it's a private affair. All the high-level executives of our company will be present. This is all that I understand. I have no further information on it.

Hi KVE, If you don’t know the destination, how to & from where to start?

Dear Kate,

Please answer all the questions raised by Kumar. In addition, please provide details about your organization: size and activities. Kindly include information about how long your presentation should last, etc. It's far better to get an answer based on facts than assumptions. If our assumptions are wrong, then we will make an ASS of U and ME. That's how my tutor had spelled the word "assume."

Thank you.

Hi,

I've already shared all that I know. The presentation is expected to be around 15-20 minutes. We have around 400 employees. I would like to keep my company name confidential. I'm only looking for general guidelines around organizational summits for department heads. Thank you.

Regards,
