Dear Seniors,
I am a working from last 10 years. previously I was in finance and after recession I left finance (share market dealer job) and currently I am working as Admin. When I was planning to do my post graduation and I found that MBA-HR is suitable for Admin (info was in prospectus of college) so I joint JBIMS-part time MBA-in HR recently. Now I am in search of job in HR as it will add experience of HR to my career and at the end of my completion of MBA-HR after 3 years I will be in a satisfactory position. But as a fresher in HR how can I get a job in HR now. is there need of doing any short term pay roll course and if yes, then where I can join such courses in Mumbai.
Please guide me.
With Regards,

Since you have decided to pursue Hr an dtaken admission in Part time MBA-HR in JBIMS, the suggestion o pursue finance sinc eyou ahs 10 yrs. experienc, is of not much use now. You can try to get into into either pay-roll or recruitment executive jobs to start with and then slowly get into HR-Generalist job. There are som eprivate institutions in Mumbai imparting tarining in Generalsit-HR. In the meantime you can finsih your MBA.

It is not necessary. Try to get into generalist profile even at the entry level since you have experience in admin jobs already. depending up on the sector in which you have experience, you can target that sector for a break or try retail sector where mostly basic experience in admin and HR will facilitate your entry into general profile.
