Dear Seniors,
I have to prepare a detailed flowchart on the staff exit process. It should contain every single aspect that is involved in the process. The flowchart should be created either on PowerPoint or in Word. I have come across some related posts but have not found any flowchart.
Please help as this is quite urgent. I hope to receive fruitful and productive responses. If you wish, you can email me the same at "ditti.rastogi@gmail.com".

Dear all,
I regret to say that no response to this query came up. Last time, I also asked something on the other post and did not get any response. What is the site useful for if we do not get responses? I don't think my query is so tough to answer.
I am really disappointed this time. 😕☹️😞😣😕😕

Thank you very much for your prompt support, Rakesh.
One more thing to understand: if an employee wishes to have their notice period waived, where and how should this be indicated? Who has the authority to approve such a request? Additionally, what happens if an employee does not complete the full notice period, and where should this be reflected in the flowchart?
Thanks once again.

waiver of notice period pay is the prerogative of HR head. There is generally no fixed policy for this, however it is decided on the case basis. Rakesh

Hi Govind and Rakesh,
Thank you for your assistance so far. However, my query remains unresolved. I need to consider all possible scenarios in the flowchart, such as what happens if an employee doesn't serve the full notice period, serves only half of the notice period, or wishes to have it waived off. If the latter is the case, I also need to know who is authorized to grant such a waiver.
Please take some time to reflect on these scenarios and provide me with your insights. I appreciate your help in this matter.
Thank you.

Hi Ditti,
Just add in a flow chart before the exit interview, where the employee should submit a clearance paper signed by the store in charge, accounts, and then the personnel department. This paper should indicate that there are no more dues left with the employee.
Secondly, when someone resigns, the resignation should be signed first by their succeeding boss. The boss can write in the remark column any special requirements for the employee's handover process in terms of days. However, in case of an emergency, the decision will be taken by higher operational management. Generally, the paperwork comes from their side, so at the time of the exit, this issue will no longer be overdue.
