Hi All, Currently I am working with an organisation and as per offer letter my joining date is 28th Aug 2018. Last working day in my previous company was 1st sept 2018. Process for which i was working in my last company was ramp down and hence HR team asked us to search new jobs. They took resignation and asked to serve notice period till 1st sept 2018 and meanwhile asked us to search job. In my current company at the time of interview i informed hr about my last working day at previous company as he offered me to join on 28th aug 2018.
HR of my current company said there will be no an issue and asked me to complete the joining formalities as they had to close the position and asked me to take leave till last working day in previous company (1st sept 2018). I did the same. Now i am afraid if i will leave this company and join other company.. How to deal with it?? Please suggest the preventive measures.

HR of your current company could have shown you as "Casual Employee" from 28th Aug 2018 to 31st Aug 2018. To avoid overlap, your appointment could have been shown on 1st Sep 2018. It appears that your current HR has misguided you by not doing so.
Anyway, now you have two options. One is to talk to your current HR and shift the DOJ from 28th Aug 2018 to 1st Sep 2018. If he says that he cannot do that then you need to go back to the previous employer and ask them to show your Last Working Day (LWD) as 27th Aug 2018.

Thank you Dinesh for your time. But its been nine month now and i m not sure if previous employer change the last working day to 27th Aug.
Bcoz this lwd is also updated in service history of uan login.
