Hello ...

Hope this letter finds you safe and well. We are very happy to welcome you back to xyz firm. We would like you to resume work on xx September 2021.

The terms and conditions of your appointment and service agreement remain unchanged. Your seniority will not be affected by this brief furlough period. As per the current scenario, we have decided not to continue with payout of the variables till further notice. So, your total monthly salary will be the same as your fixed salary.

We invite you to undertake the next steps, your job responsibilities have been relooked based on the current business requirements, and your new projects for coming weeks are mentioned in the attached Annexure.
Please sign a copy of this letter and return the same to us as a token of acceptance.

Welcome back!

Dear member,

A few observations on your draft or post itself are as below:

a) "Foulage" word does not exist in the English dictionary. In what context this word has been created?

b) Nothing is mentioned in your draft on the payment of gratuity. Will the furlough be included while calculating the gratuity?

c) What is the context of the term "furlough"? The dictionary meaning of "furlough" is putting an employee on unpaid leave to reduce costs. Has the word been used in the same context?

d) You have restructured the salary of an employee. However, does restructuring meant a reduction in the salary?

Please clarify.

Thanks,

Dinesh Divekar
