Hi, Actually I joined an organization with experience of 1.2 years. It's been 10 days of joining and completing all the joining formalities. Now I got an offer from a good company with a better package. Since it is work from home. Onboarding happened virtually where I accepted and signed ( digital signature) all the documents and submitted to them. But I'm into the project as of now since it is mnc. But i want to go to the other offer which I got. Can I just leave without any trace (abscond)? Can anyone let me know what are the consequences?

Isn’t it amazing how many times people decide to do unethical (and even illegal) things and then put posts on the forum wanting seniors to say, yes sure, go ahead, you will do good in life!

Absconding the job has its own consequence, esp. if you are a PF member. As pointed out by learned Saswata Sir, don't use this forum for opinionated advice. We don't subscribe unethical practices.

OP, you have been a member of this forum for just one day.

Had you been here longer, you would have read posts almost every day from members who have done what you are contemplating.

Many of them have suffered adverse consequences of their foolhardy decisions and then ask the CiteHR community how to solve the problems of their own making. For the most part we cannot offer solutions.

You need to reflect long and hard on this course of action and the long term consequences for your career. If you have no loyalty and comittment to an employer, you will get none in return.

I am curious about your statement that you got an offer from "a good company". What is wrong with the company you have joined? If they are not "good", why did you apply for a job with them AND then accept an offer in the first place? Sounds to me like your whole process for applying for jobs needs a complete overhaul so you make the right decision the first time. You are doomed to disappointment if you don't learn from your mistakes.
