Dear HR Experts,
I need urgent help. Seven years ago, I resigned from a company after working for two years. The company simply refused to release me and forced me to stay, which I did not agree with. The new company (a big MNC) from where I had the offer took four weeks to take me in as I told them I was not being provided the relieving letter by my current company. The new company brought me on the rolls of a consulting company for six months and then transferred me to their rolls.
I worked there for three years and then joined another company. Even this new company (a bigger MNC) took two months to give me a joining date after I informed them that I did not have a relieving letter from my previous employer. Now, I have worked for four years in this company and have an offer from another company (an even bigger MNC). I am in the same situation as I have to inform this new employer before accepting the offer that I do not have a relieving letter from a company where I worked seven years ago. Do you think this would ruin my employment chances in this new company? How should I approach the new HR to share this information?
I am really worried and do not know how to approach. I do not want to resign from my current company until the HR of the new company confirms and accepts this situation. I have the offer letter, Form 16, etc., from the company that did not provide me with the relieving letter. Dear experts, please guide me.

I missed mentioning that I am Indian, and all the companies I have mentioned have offices in India, offering positions in India. Another important detail is that this company provided my Form 16 via email after a few months but is not willing to issue a relieving letter. It is notable that good employees do not tend to stay at this company for long, and many of them do not receive a relieving letter due to widespread harassment experienced by nearly everyone in a similar manner.
Now that I have provided all the necessary information, I hope the experts can assist me.
