Dear Friends,

I have over 6 years of experience in recruitment alone. Now, I am presented with a new opportunity to work as an HR Generalist (Plant HR) in our new factory. We have separate team members for recruitment, training, OD, etc.

Please provide suggestions to enhance my role (job description) as a Plant HR.

Hi,

Plant HR is responsible for the following:

1. Executing HR policies/strategies established by the Corporate HR Team and updating the Corporate HR Team on employee feedback regarding these policies.
2. Identifying the training needs of employees in the plant and communicating these needs to the Corporate Training Team.
3. Managing all HR-related activities in the plant, including recruitment, induction, training, performance management, and employee engagement activities.
4. Ensuring statutory compliance.

While your company may have a Corporate HR team focusing on strategies and policies, the effectiveness of these HR strategies and policies depends on Plant HR. The HR representatives at each plant should implement and advance these policies and strategies, providing feedback to the Corporate HR Team.

The Corporate HR Team will not directly engage in Plant HR activities but will work through you. Therefore, you need to play a significant role as Plant HR.

Thank you.
