Hello Sushant,

These details are not enough. Are you working in a company or doing a project? Which industry do you belong to - manufacturing, service, or something else? Also, provide details on the number of employees there.

If you send these details, the reply can be framed accordingly.

Are you a student intern? When will your internship end? The best source for a PowerPoint presentation is the web. The best way to go about it is to adapt what you find on the web, design your own, and then seek feedback on that. I do not work in that industry, and that's what I would do if I wanted something urgently.

Have a nice day.

Dear Sushant,

What Mr. Simhan stated is correct. If you look at the right corner, you will find a number of PowerPoint presentations and materials on Performance Appraisal to assist you.

I have not worked in the service industry, but as a clue, I can tell you that during the appraisal process, you need to consider two factors - 'goals' or 'targets' given, and behavioral attributes such as team spirit, interpersonal skills, cooperation, delegation, job quality, discipline, and so on, as suited to your organization's nature.

I hope these guidelines will be helpful to you.

Hi,

I have completed my MBA in HR and am now working in an institute. I have to prepare a research proposal to get into a Ph.D. program, but I am really confused about how to get started. What topic should I choose? Personally, I want to focus on training and development, but I am unsure about what exactly should be done. Please guide me on this.

Hi,

Thank you for your valuable advice. I will always take care of the suggestions given by you. After searching a lot on this site, I have gathered some information about Ph.D., but I am still confused about the process of how to get started. What steps should I take for a Ph.D., such as how to select the topic, research methodology, etc., in the field of HR?

The best way to go about is to find the gap in knowledge. To do that, you have to read articles in scholarly journals and choose a topic that interests you and that offers an opportunity to add something new. Usually, authors write what further needs to be done in their articles. Please access Emerald and read abstracts in journals in your field.

Have a nice day.
