HI all,
I recently got an offer from a MNC Company and they asked me to submit all my documents related to education,experience and so on. I worked for a company A partnered with Company B when i joined them. The salary was credited from Company B for one year after then the company A & B got partitioned for some reason.I worked for Company A for almost 2 years then.But the salary for the first year was credited from Company B and then for the remaining years Company A credited my salary.
I had submitted all my documents like relieving,experience letter,last 3 month pay slips of company A and the offer letter from Company B .So now the MNC is asking for the bank statement for the 1st and last 3months and/or Form 16. I don't have the Form 16.
Now my question is Which company's (A or B) Bank statement that i have to provide. Both the companies credited salary to my bank account.But i am not sure whether they credited from their company's account. I am very much frustrated. I request someone to sort out this issue.

Bank statements are private and personal documents and it is a wrong practice for companies to ask for them. It is supposedly done to ASCERTAIN the salary that the candidate is drawing. However, it only exemplifies the ineptness and lack of a good compensation system. It is for the companies to devise their own system based on qualification, experience or expertise and the current job market trends in their industry vertical; rather than based on what the candidate is getting in his existing company.

Its a wrong practise of seeking bank statement, the Organization can ask for latest salary slip or increment letter to ensure the compensation declared by the employee for its correctness.
The first page of the Bank statement can be given for verifying the address of the employee, Account no for salary transfer etc.

Dear concern,
May be they need for your finicial verification............because HR department will carry your finicial verification on an after your seniors permission.
may be they observe you suspecious. So, if you are not engage any suspecious activity................you please don't worry & submit your bank statement ( We all know B/statement is private & confidencial documents........but an orginization/employer have right to take or conduct any investigation on suspicious activity by the employee)

When i checked my bank statement today in bank as i dont have net banking in those accounts, salary is credited as SALARY for 1 year from Company B and Salary from Company A. Since the companies are different will it make a problem?
