I started working in 2014 and worked for that company till 2018. (Company 1)
In 2018 I joined another company and to date working at that company. (Company 2)
Company 1 - cleared all the documents after my release including the release letter, experience letter( given after 4 months of release ), and full and final settlement ( given after 4 months of release ). All with positive reviews.
Now in 2024 after almost 6 years when I am trying to switch to Company 2 and trying to join an MNC, the Company 1 is giving negative reviews in the MNC's background verification review. They are giving reviews that I shared that companies private data to get job in a competitor company. I have violated their policies. All of which are false allegations. And they are giving this because it was a small and most of their employee left the company in 2 years time.
What can I do in this situation?
