These are highly specialized areas and it is best to leave it in the hands of professionals, otherwise the outcomes can be disastrous.
You may browse through our website www.piiconsultnts.com and contact us for professionally undertaking this work for your organization.
Kindly realize that this work is more sacrosanct than that of a medical practitioner - he tinkers with your body and the side effects of various medicines are known and the patient frequently reports them to his doctor.
We tinker with the mind/psyche of the person and if improperly handled, it can cause havoc.

Send me an email request for "Testing and Assessment: an Employer's Guide to Good Practices", Employment and Training Administration U.S. Department of Labor, 1999. It is good resource for the end user of assessments.

There are numerous psychometric instruments available in the market today....a few reputed vendors include SHL, Thomas International, PI, Cubiks etc.
To the best of my understanding...you need to keep in mind a couple of things while selecting the tool:
1) Need for assessment
2) Cost of assessment
3) Time required for assessment
4) Ease of administration etc.
Most importantly, business leaders must buy into the concept of psychological testing. Also, in some countries like U.S. many of these tools cannot be used to reject people...so if are looking to implement the tool globally, then you need to be aware of such risks as well...

dear yogesh
Tests like house tree person are all projective tests and are difficult to interpret
better make use of paper pencil tests for eg
for evaluating the personality
u can use tests like
16PF or Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

Hi Yogesh,
This is Ambita here, I have done my Psychometric testing certification from the British Psychological Society......it is very important that you use a valid and reliable test.
First of all, you should be very clear about the objective.....whether you are using for recruitment purposes or for developmental purposes.
A good test that can be used for both is the 15FQ+, which is based on Cattell's 16PF.....However, remember it is a personality test.
If you are looking more for ability/aptitude test you can use the Critical Reasoning Test Battery (CRTB2), or the Technical Test Battery (TTB2)...depending again on what type of ability you are trying to judge.
Hope it helps

Hi Yogesh,
I am working as consultant psychologist for Central Test International (visit www.centraltest.co.uk or www.asia.centraltest.com for details).
I am into psychometric test development for last three and half year and have developed/customized tests for different companies. I can discuss my experience and the process of using a test for specific purpose but I would prefer discussing it on one to one basis.
You can contact me on or on skype. My skype ID is: vijai.pandey
