Hi sabrirajk
I would suggest you should first decide what u really want to be an hr or something else . If u want to leave hr job just because of weak English i would say this is no reason. You can join any english classes after your job or can even learn speaking english though lots of books available. Problem will come is every field and better way is to find solution. Moreover i don't think that Hr is much effected by English s u dont have to deal with customers.
In case u r confused about what u want to be i would suggest u contact a career councellor or try to find out what u r good at and which job makes u happy and then take decision
Best of luck

Dear all
Good oral & written communication in English Language will always be an added advantage in corporates. As an HR role, while officially communicating with employees / workers / senior officials / statutory authorities, you have to reassure the language you are using with good phraseology covering all legal implications and referring to all other clauses. For an entry level in HR, someone may not or need not be an expert in english literature, however, as the years go, you need to have potentiality in effectively communicating at all levels. Please understand that HR is not an easy field to select, whereas it requires a good communique, attitude, diplomacy, smartness & IQ to deal with all employees.

Hello Sabrirajk,
Good communication skills will not only give you confidence, but it will help you in growing further in your career. Please act on what has been advised by our members above. Initially start speaking in small groups, friends and relatives. Note your mistakes and correct them. Read English news, listen it, try out self conversations in English only. Don't get disheartened by negative comments. Don't worry and be positive. You will succeed soon!
