Dear Sir(s),
Education qualification: MBA (HR). I have been working for 1 year and 2 months in a reputed Engineering company as the Secretary of CE(P). This is my first job, and I have learned many things here. However, recently, I am not experiencing job satisfaction and am finding it difficult to concentrate because I am required to do the same tasks I have been doing for the past year. How can I develop my career and myself in this situation? I initially joined this company to improve myself, so I did not pay much attention to my salary structure (which is very low).
Now, getting to the point, I have received another job opportunity at HITACHI company. They mainly deal with customers, which is similar to my current role. I am unsure whether I should accept this offer. I kindly request your guidance on this matter as there is no one around me to provide advice.
Additionally, I acknowledge that my English communication skills are not very strong, which may be hindering my ability to secure better job opportunities. I apologize if my message is difficult to understand.
I look forward to your response.
Thank you.

Dear Sahelly,
To start with, rest assured that your written English is good. Keep working on the spoken part and by shunning the apprehensions soon you'll get the hang of it.
Now let's get to the issue of discontentment with your job that you have mentioned here. You need to do some self-counseling on the front. Get it sorted as to why you are finding it difficult to give your best to the job. Is this solely because of the monotony of the job or is it because now you know that your monetary issues are not addressed well here? As far as monotony is considered, it is too early for you to decide on quitting the job. You need to do a reality check on your present designation and its prospects. You should know that the job of a secretary is mostly redundant, though very important at the same time, and that job enrichment or a promotion are unlikely to be seen before a good 3 years in the same position.
If you want to switch to Hitachi; go for it! But I would recommend doing thorough research on what they are offering in terms of experience and prospects before your joining.

Sajalji,
Thanks for your response, and I'm really very happy to know that I'm improving in written English. I am also trying to improve in speaking English too. I understand your points. Sajal ji, where I have a chance for a job, they are basically dealers as far as I know. Actually, I would like to join there for the improvement of my communication skills (I have to speak either English or Hindi there). One more thing, they will not provide any letter now; they told me that they will provide a letter when I resign from our office. I got this job through a reference. Frankly telling you, at my current job, most of the time I have to type or do other miscellaneous tasks (like personal tasks, etc.). Now, please suggest me on what I should do.

Dear Sahelly,
From your reply, it appears that you are currently working in a back desk role, which limits your opportunities to interact with others. It seems like you have a desire to enhance your presentation skills. This is where the job at Hitachi comes into play, as it will allow your personality to shine and prepare you for situations where you need to pitch sales or engage in promotional activities on behalf of the company. I recommend considering the contrast between your current position and the potential role at Hitachi before making a decision.
In my opinion, joining Hitachi could be a beneficial move for you as they may offer better compensation and provide a platform for you to enhance your communication abilities. If this aligns with your goals, I suggest you go ahead and accept the opportunity.
I want to emphasize that your current employer has treated you well, so it's important not to leave abruptly. Review your employment contract to understand any notice periods required for resignation. If there is a stipulated notice period, ensure you provide the necessary notice, typically 2 months or 1 month, before leaving. Additionally, inform Hitachi about your resignation from your current position and specify your expected last working day.
I wish you success in your new role at Hitachi. Good luck!
Best regards, [Your Name]

Sir, I did not understand the last two points. Sir, you have understood where my problem lies. Kindly help me here. When they are saying that they shall not provide a joining letter/appointment letter, should I join there and then gather experience from HITACHI to eventually secure a job at another company? After your response, I will make the final decision. Actually, I can never make any decision quickly.

Dear Sahelly,
All I meant to say is that you should understand that the profile at Hitachi is completely different from what you have been doing all this while. If you want to join Hitachi, please inform your present employer and write to them about your resignation. Request them to issue you a relieving letter as soon as possible. Meanwhile, you should also inform the authorities at Hitachi that you have already resigned and should be available to join soon. There should not be any problems with that.
