Hi
Can anyone tell me Rules for contract workers or Third party roll workers regarding leaving jobs.
Can any worker leave job without giving notice period.
If he working on contact.
Also if i am working more than 3 years and not given appointment letter by contracter or main employer then do i have to give notice period.
i am getting pf esic all benefits.
My company is going to get signed paper about notice period after 3 years. bcoz of one of the worker leave job without giving notice.
pls tell me if it is law

Dear Sir, anybody can give a abstract of COntract labour act. its very urgent. inspection is on head.

If a staff hired on Project contract system and has 2 years experience on contract system in an NGO (2 situation)
1. If new contract is issued to him/her for a new project under the same division rather than extension of contract, does his/her EL can be Carry forwarded?
2. If new contract is issued to him/her for a new project but different division , does his/her EL can be carry forwarded.
3. If that person is under the same division , should a new contract be issued?? if so, why or if not , why?
Please let me know how does this contract system work for a research Institute alligning to LABOUR LAW.

dear all,
as per Act we have to give and they have to eligible to get leaves under contract labour regulation and abolition Act. but majority of establishments they need not give any leaves to contract labour. it is violation of indian laws.

Please suggest Employee is eligible for only last three yrs of leave encasement as per the rule ,if the employee has not availed or en-cashed is leave from his DOJ (01/04/2008)it would get lapsed.

Sir kindly suggest me if contractors are not ready to pay the under minimum wages rate.as a principal employer what will be our next step.
other hand contractors are given excuse at the time of work contract the MW rate was different because the MW rate are revise within every six month.
