Can anyone help me get clarification about the sexual harassment policy?

1) What is the minimum number of employees required in a company to form a committee?

2) Should committee members only be Indian, or can they be foreign employees in the case of an MNC?

Hi Mahi,

I am working for a Graphic Design company where I don't see any policy has been made for Sexual Harassment. However, I need to have some clarification before setting up one. Can the members of the Internal Complaints Committee be employees of the company? After forming the ICC and the policy, does it require to be registered with the Local Complaints Committee? I need to have an urgent reply.

@kmahi786 The members of ICC are, in fact, the employees of the company except for one external member who can be from an NGO, legal background, or has worked on the subject of Sexual Harassment at Workplace. There is no need to register the ICC with the LCC, as both bodies have different jurisdictions.
