Dear Members,
My name is senthilkumar and I am working in Abu Dhabi in reputed electromechanical company as a Training / Recruitment coordinator. I am drafting my own CV and I would like to mention that qualification is not required to me, because I am having enough skills & knowledge to perform my duties effectively. All I would like to mention 2 lines that impacting this particular part in Official / Business English.
Your help in this regards shall be highly appreciated.

Hello Senthilkumar,
You request is a bit odd.
Pl note that YOU can't be YOUR OWN judge--it's for the prospective employers to make the kind of judgement call you wish to make.
However, pl elaborate on the reasons for this request--don't you have any qualifications? OR is it that YOU think they are very lowly?
Suggest stick to the facts--and let/allow the prospective employers make their own assessments of your caliber.
In case IF you do want to highlight your experience, pl do so--so that the reader of your resume would be forced to notice the wide disparity between your qualifications & experience. Not that ALL employers give such combination equal weightage--but there WILL SURELY be some who would.
Also, it may be pertinent to mention that there are scores of professionals whose qualifications really don't match the general perception of what they do--so you aren't really an exception.

Dear Senthilkumar,

Sateesh has given very nice explanation however, this is in addition or in support of what he has said.

Qualification is required anywhere and everywhere. At times I could not get training assignment because I did not do Train The Trainer (TTT) from particular training company. The client was not interested in expertise or length of experience in years but the very first selection criteria was TTT from ____ company.

Sateesh has written that "Suggest stick to the facts--and let/allow the prospective employers make their own assessments of your caliber." Now to do this, you need to include the following statements in your CV:

a) Handled recruitment of ____ (number) posts in ____ (number) years.

b) Reduced recruitment expenditure from ___% ____ % from year ____ to ____ OR maintained recruitment expenditure at ___% of HR budget consistently for _____ years.

c) Stuck to the approved turnaround time for filling vacancies. My service rate was ____%

d) Organised ____ (number) of training programmes in the year _____ (number). Trained ____ (number) of employees through these training programmes. The service percentage was ____ as per budgeted training programmes.

e) Out of ___ training programmes conducted in year ____, measured effectiveness of training for ____ programmes because of which revenue of ______ (number) was saved.

f) Through ____ training programmes, I helped maintaining customer satisfaction ratio (or any other ratio) of _____% in ____ years.

and so on.

Inclusion of the above statements in the CV is no easy task. Please refrain from making any tall claims as there is every possibility of interviewer asking you skillful question to verify those claims. However, if you are able to do then you might beat even to those who have long experience or very good qualification. Only thing that would matter is level-headed interviewer or HR at other side.

Dear Mr. Satheesh,
First i would like to thank you for your precious advise.
My intention was to make understand the recruiters that i am having enough experience, knowledge & skills to perform the job equal to the person who having degree. Because i didn't complete my degree and my qualification level was SSC failed. for instance, 1). how would you rate my english knowledge with this qualification. 2). The guy who working under my control he has completed degree and he still assisting me and he would like to assist me and many points. Since you excellent in english, i would like to request you to create a covering letter regarding this matter for Recruitment Cum Training Coordinator postion in business english. Well i can say my weakness is business english but i am good in learning the things so fast.

Dear Mr. Dinesh,
Thank you very much for your above statement and advise, it will be very helpful to me, but i don't think that will be very tough to do sorry no offense. I don't have problem with do the work, but my problem is the name of the task which i doing. may be this is exactly where qualification required to understand the name of the task? my boss never taught me the work which i am going to do, he only taught me how to do the work. it would be very helpful to me if someone provide Job Responsibilities of Recruitment Cum Training Coordinator relevant to Electro-mechanical Company.

Dear senthilkumar.
Other members have suggest you very well but I have only one recommendation for you. If you are facing trouble on drafting your CV and you think that you should be placed on higher level despite of your less qualification then this problem can only be solved by professional resume writer. Hire any professional resume writer for drafting your CV and see the miracle.

Dear Mr Senthilkumar,
In case you donot have any professional qualification, then the problem is your CV may not be shortlisted in the first place as the initial screening is often done at the clerical level or by new joinees or internees. They do not have the experience or authority to use their judgement in screening. It is only tallying whether the Job Specifications mentioned in the advertisement tallies with your CV or not. If it does, it goes to the shortlist folder, if it doesn't it goes to the Reject one.
Moreover, you may take help of others to write a proper Covering Letter, but you need to post a draft of it first and then seek help as a Covering letter is not about references but about highlighting your USPs, and none knows it better than you.
