Hello, I badly need your help! My sister is studying B.Tech and is in her last semester. As per her university, she is required to do a six-month training in any IT company. Her college arranged a placement for her in a company located in Gurgaon, New Delhi. The company has indicated that they will hire her as an employee after the training is completed. However, I suspect something is seriously wrong with that company.
She is required to report at 08:00 hrs and work until 19:30 hrs. Recently, her friend arrived late and was promptly asked to leave the company. This situation has left my sister quite distressed. The company seems to be putting a lot of pressure on the trainees, and everyone is fearful of not receiving the training completion certificate if they speak up.
I would appreciate any advice on how I can help her in this situation. Thank you.

I would suggest that you advise your sister to discuss this scenario with her college senior teachers. Additionally, she can explore opportunities with other companies for training, especially if she has just joined. Working for 12 hours once or twice is acceptable, but it may not be suitable for employees who are freshers. The nature of work in that organization may focus more on production support, leading employees to work extended hours. If this workload is manageable for her, then it's alright as six months will pass quickly.

@RUNAL_JAGPAT - Yes, Sir! This is what we have decided now as we do not have any choice. Only 3 months are left to get the training completed. After that, the employer has told us to hire her as a permanent employee, but we do not think we would stick with that company after the training.
