I wud suggest
Night shift allowance on per hour basis.. dont compel them to stay back for long hrs... you can give them on per hour basis may be 150/- per hr.
Transportation allowance per day basis i.e. Rs 100/- per day
Attendance allowance wud be done quartely basis.. 1000/- bonus for being present for 120 days ...

1 Night shift allowance - People needed to be hired for Night shift separately. and their salary must be adjusted so that it could be motivating. Revenue earned in Day compared to night is high and employees needs to be compensated.
2. Transport allowance - If candidates travels for 1 or 2 days then per KM needs to be paid hover for the full month if employee comes by own then monthly rates should be fixed i.e. around Rs. 1000 /month. however if you have cab facility then don't give money to those where you have cab running.
3. Attendance allowance - 1000 as bonus for employees coming on daily basis (no leaves apart of weekly leaves given by the company)

Dear Siddhant,

I could help you in how things are generally done.

1. For night shift allowance for people that come in during the night, a stipend can be included in their salary depending on what time they work. For example, if you set a night shift allowance for a person working until 11 or 12 at night at Rs 3000, then a person who is working the entire night, going home sometime in the morning, his allowance could be somewhere around Rs 4000 or Rs 4500. This is just an example; you can set figures depending on the capability of the company. Alternatively, you can fix an amount for different timings. For instance, people logging off from 10 pm to 12.00 am could receive Rs 75 per day, and from 12.00 am to 3 could be Rs 100 per day, and so on. In this system, the employee can be paid only for the days that he is present in the organization (number of working days), thus making this benefit apart from his CTC.

2. For Transport allowance, the typical practice is to assign an amount, e.g., Rs 800 per month. If the employee is availing transport provided by the company, the amount becomes taxable. If the employee is not using the company-provided transport, this amount is non-taxable.

3. Finally, attendance allowance: This can be set according to percentages like 85% to 100% for a stipulated amount, 70% to 80% for another amount, and anything below that would be nil.

Just to let you know, this is not my own idea; this is how things are generally done. I thought it would help to inform you.

Hope this helps.

All the best.
