I really appreciate the inputs. My area of interest is Learning and Development. However, the hospital unit where I intern does not have a training mechanism. Its corporate office, situated in a different place, handles it (this hospital has a centralized work culture).
Regarding my guide, he has given me the freedom to choose my topic according to the scope of studies. Here, I am given access to almost all HR files and documents.

You are interested in Learning & Development, so you can choose something in that area. You mentioned they don't have a training mechanism as such. You can take it up as your project if you want. There must be some training happening for non-clinical employees. Check out how they conduct training, how clinical and non-clinical training are organized and separated, and how it impacts the growth of employees, nurses, and other staff.
