For the POSH IC Committee, can the Presiding Officer/Chairperson be a male employee from a senior level internally within the organization? We have constituted a team of 5 employees, comprising 3 mid-level females and 2 senior-level males, all of whom are our employees. We have not involved any females from an NGO/social worker. Is it mandatory to involve any social worker/member from an NGO?
Also, where should the Annual Report of POSH be submitted? Is it @ Collector Office, Bandra? My corporate office is located in Goregaon East. (We have not received any complaints from any employee regarding harassment; we are doing this solely to comply with the POSH Law.)
Where should the Annual Return (Form R) under the Maharashtra Shops & Establishment Act be submitted? Is it offline?
Please address the above queries urgently.

The presiding officer has to be a senior-level female employee. Further, having all three members as mid-level and the male members being senior-level is a bad idea. You must remember that in case of any problem, the constitution of the committee being unfriendly to female complainants, the company will face a lot of problems.
It is a good idea to have an external member. I believe it is a legal requirement.

I have one query relating to Annual Return Filing for SHOR. For the last 2 months, I have been trying to file the return but have been unable to do so as the website window did not display the required FY-2021-22 for e-filing. And now, it is showing "The S.H.O.R application is no longer operational. You may use any of the following applications to register your grievance.
