Hello,

I am Ayusi Das and I have completed my PGPM in HR and Marketing. I want to start a new recruitment firm of my own, but being a fresher, I am in a real dilemma as to where to start my work. Hence, I require guidance to start my own consultancy.

Please help me ASAP. I would be really grateful.

Thank you,
Ayusi Das

Hi Ayusi,

It's great that you have a business idea. While an MBA or equivalent qualification may not be necessary to start a business, it can certainly help in developing your thinking. Having said that, it may not be advisable to jump straight into HR consulting. From my viewpoint, it would be beneficial to gain work experience initially, even if it's not specifically in HR. Work experience is essential as it provides valuable insights into the demands of the business world.

I am offering these insights assuming you are a fresher without any work experience, but ultimately, the decision is yours based on your intuition and life orientation. There are, of course, exceptions where individuals have followed their instincts, worked hard, and achieved great success without prior experience. Remember, exceptions are always exempted.

Hi Ayusi,

It's true what the REC Specialist said. Please gain some knowledge before you start something; otherwise, it will be very difficult to handle employees and clients. The knowledge you gain will help you handle both of them better and provide more clarity on budgeting, business setups, etc.

Hi dear all,

I need clarification on starting a business that includes a call center, computer training center, and recruitment consultancy in Mahabubnagar district, Telangana. How do I start? How do I get projects? Where do I find projects? What about the manpower? Is it right that less manpower can lead to more productivity? To whom should I approach to get call center projects? What are the ways to do so? Please suggest on this project.

Thanks in advance.
