Dear Ritu
Please go through EPFO <link updated to site home> <link updated to site home> link and adhere the same. You can download the forms and fill it up and approach your district PF Commissioner Office and get the registration done. While approaching the office please mention that you have approached on voluntary basis and not on receipt of any notice.
Our members can tell the procedures only upto certain level. But practically it will be littlebit different. Take the list of your employees for whom you are planning to deduct the PF alongwith the form. The PF Commissioner office will allot you with a Establishment Code and from that onwards you can start deducting the PF.

Dear Ritu,
Yes any establishment having more than 20 workers has to be covered under PF / ESI ( Now they have proposed to 10 employees).
You have to register for both ESI and PF.
Attaching the list of documents needed to obtain ESI and PF code for your organisation.
Penality will be there but it will be recovered after you file your returns.(Penalty/dames will be collected for both PF & ESI).
Your company is running for 5 years whether you r covered in Shops & Commercial act.
Better you can give it to a consultant who will get you all the licence to proceed further.
Thanks and regards

Dear Thangaraj,
You have to deduct 12% from basic salary(Basic+DA) from employees.
tell me 1 thing Rs.4000 is net salary or gross salary.(Since net salary is amount after deduction of ESI, PF, LOP, PT etc.)
If it is gross are you following minimum wages to the employees.(if it is covered under S & E act)
