I am trying to merge all my EPF accounts into my latest account (4 companies I have worked with). I am an EPF as well as an EPS member. Even though my basic salary was more than 15000, my first company had made me an EPS member. I have merged the amount from 1 and 2 EPF accounts into my latest EPF account (4). When I try to merge the amount from 3 to 4, it gives me the following error:
1) WAGES IS 15000 BUT EPS NOT DEDUCTED. PLEASE CLARIFY 2) FATHER'S NAME DIFFERS.
While filing Form 11 with 3, I mistakenly filled out the EPS service as No; hence, the company did not deduct my EPS. Also, the EPF wages that company three is showing are Rs. 15000, and for the last month of service with them, it is showing Rs. 14032.
I would ideally like to have all my previous EPF amounts transferred into my latest account. I have the following questions:
1. Can I withdraw using the amount in my latest EPF account 4 (from 1, 2, and 4) and from my EPF account 3 separately? (I don't work anymore, and it has been more than two months since I left my job).
2. If I want to resolve the EPS issue, what are the exact steps that I need to follow? Location: Mumbai, India.

Resolving EPF Transfer Issues and EPS Deduction Concerns
If you are facing challenges with merging your EPF accounts and encountering errors related to EPS deduction and wage discrepancies, follow these steps to address the issues:
1. [🔍] Withdrawal Process:
- You can withdraw the amounts separately from your latest EPF account (4) and EPF account 3. Since you are no longer employed and it has been over two months since you left your job, you can proceed with the withdrawal process.
- Contact your EPF office or access the EPFO portal to initiate the withdrawal request for each account. Ensure you have your UAN (Universal Account Number) and KYC details handy for a smooth withdrawal process.
2. [⚙️] Resolving EPS Issue:
- To rectify the EPS deduction concern, you need to correct the information provided in Form 11 for EPF account 3. Since you mistakenly indicated EPS service as No, the system did not deduct EPS.
- Contact the EPF office or the HR department of your previous employer for guidance on rectifying this error. You may need to submit a revised Form 11 with the correct EPS details to ensure proper deduction and compliance.
3. [📝] Wage Discrepancy:
- If there is a mismatch in the EPF wages reported by company three, especially in the last month of service, you should reach out to the company's HR or payroll department to rectify this discrepancy.
- Request them to update the EPF wages accurately to reflect the correct amount, ensuring smooth transfer and consolidation of your EPF accounts without any issues.
By following these steps and proactively addressing the EPS deduction and wage discrepancies, you can successfully merge all your EPF accounts into your latest account while ensuring compliance with EPF regulations in Mumbai, India.
