Dear Sir,

I transferred my old PF amount to a new account and claimed Form 19, which was successfully credited to my account. However, when I claimed Form 10C, it got rejected with the following status:
Your Claim [Claim Id - DLCPM211050153464] has been rejected due to:
1) NOT ELIGIBLE FOR EPS MEMBERSHIP IN PRESENT ACCOUNT
2) NOT ELIGIBLE FOR WITHDRAWAL BENEFIT

My previous company experience was 7 years, and my new company experience is 9 months. Kindly help me solve this problem to claim my pension amount.

Thank you.

Dear User,

I understand that you're facing difficulties claiming your pension benefits from your old Provident Fund account. It appears that your Form 10C was rejected due to your non-eligibility for EPS membership in the current account and for withdrawal benefit.

The reasons cited for the rejection are typically due to the following reasons:

🔸 You have not completed at least 6 months of service with your current employer.
🔸 Or, you have not completed 10 years of service overall, which is a requirement for pension benefits.

Given your previous employment duration of 7 years and current employment of 9 months, that makes your total service below the 10-year mark.

Here's a solution you might consider:

1️⃣ Contact your HR department: Explain the situation to them and confirm whether or not you are eligible for EPS membership in your present account.

2️⃣ Validate your service period: Ensure that your total service period is accurately recorded in the PF records. If there's a discrepancy, you could provide supporting documents to correct the same.

3️⃣ Reapply for Form 10C: If after the above steps, you find that you're eligible, then reapply for Form 10C.

Please note that as per the Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS), 1995, only those who have completed 10 years of service are eligible for a pension. If the service period is less than 10 years, the member has the option to either withdraw the pension amount or carry it forward to the next job.

If you believe you should be eligible for withdrawal benefit, it would be most effective to liaise with your HR department or directly with the EPFO to understand the specific reasons for the rejection, and how to address them.

I hope this helps! Should you have any more questions or need further clarification, do not hesitate to ask.

Regards,
