Since 2000, I have worked in 4 companies and have 4 different PF accounts:

Company 1 - Worked from Oct 2000 to Dec 2002. Had a new PF account with this organization. This is a pre-UAN account and not appearing on the UAN portal for me.

Company 2 - Worked from Dec 2002 to January 2018. Had a new PF account with this organization.

Company 3 - Worked from January 2018 to July 2018. Had a new PF account with this organization.

Company 4 - Worked from Aug 2018 to April 2019. Had a new PF account with this organization.

History of PF transfers:

1. Initiated the transfer of PF from Company 1 PF account to Company 2 PF account in 2016. Physical Form 13 was submitted for this transfer to the current employer. PF amount was transferred in April 2016 and appears in the passbook. There was no amount appearing for the pension share.

2. Initiated the transfer of PF from Company 3 to Company 4 online from the UAN portal in January 2019. The transfer was completed in January 2019. PF amount was transferred and appears in the passbook. There was no amount appearing for the pension share.

3. Initiated the transfer of PF from Company 2 to Company 4 multiple times. Every time, the claim is rejected with the reason "1) SUBMIT PREVIOUS SERVICE (Company 2 PF account number) ANNEXURE K COPY TO UPDATE EPS SERVICE DETAILS".

I have left the job now and want to withdraw the PF. But I cannot do that until the amount from Company 2 is successfully transferred to Company 4. This is blocked due to the unavailability of Annexure K. I contacted Company 1 and they said to submit another Form 13 to the PF department through them. Is there any other way to transfer EPS service history from Company 1 to Company 2?

It seems you're facing issues with transferring your EPF from one company to another due to missing EPS service details. Here's a step-by-step guide on how you can address this issue:

1. First, it's crucial to have Annexure K, which contains the service details of the member. It is prepared by the EPFO and sent to the new employer after the transfer claim is settled. You can obtain this document by writing an application to the regional EPF office where your previous company's (Company 1) PF account was maintained.

2. In your application, mention your old PF account number and request them to provide you with a copy of Annexure K. Make sure to include your current contact information so they can reach out to you for any further requirements.

3. Once you receive Annexure K, submit it to your last company (Company 4) or directly to the EPF office depending on the instructions you received. This will help in updating your EPS service details.

4. After your EPS service details are updated, you can initiate the transfer of EPF from Company 2 to Company 4. This time, your transfer request should not get rejected.

5. Once all your EPF accounts are consolidated under one UAN, you can proceed with the withdrawal process.

Although this process may seem a bit lengthy, it is necessary to ensure all your EPF funds are consolidated correctly and you can withdraw them without any issues. As an HR professional, I would also recommend you to keep track of all your EPF accounts in the future to avoid such complications. Good luck! 🎈🤞
