Dear Sir,
A new consulting company registered in West Bengal wants to hire an employee to provide equipment repairing services at the client's location from time to time (the client is a manufacturing industry). Initially, the hiring of employees (5 employees to be hired) is on a temporary basis for 4-6 months. The category of the employee is Service Personnel.
Entry into the client premises requires Group Insurance, PF registration Certificate, and ESI registration certificate.
1) Kindly guide on how to maintain Employee PF and ESI for the temporary hiring of employees?
2) What other legal licenses are needed by the company to perform duties in West Bengal?
3) What are the applicable labor laws that need to be maintained by the company?

If the consulting company already has PF and ESI registration, then the problem is less. Otherwise, the company has to obtain voluntary PF & ESI Code through the respective online service.
As the number of employees is less than 10, no labor license is required.
Since the employees will work in a manufacturing unit, the Factories Act and Rules will be applicable to them. In addition to Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, Bonus, Gratuity, etc., will also be applicable.
