I was working as an HR Executive with one of the startups and resigned four days ago. I am expecting my salary on the 8th of October 2018. I need to know for how many days an owner/company can delay the salary of a resigned employee (in case the salary is not given on the specified date). Also, what legal actions can I take if such a delay occurs? I am looking forward to your prompt response.

As you have already worked with the employer, you know better how many days it takes to complete the full and final settlement of resigned employees. According to regulations, the monetary settlement should be completed within 30 days from the employee's last working day. If the employer fails to make the payment within this timeframe, you can visit the nearest Labour Officer for assistance.
