Hi, I am having 2 days of overlap in the job for which I had informed both employers, and none of them are helping me. I approached the EPFO office since my PF is stuck. The PF officer asked me to get the date changed by either company, and then only I can apply for PF transfer. I intimated the same to them, but still, both employers are providing their reasons for which it cannot be done. Can anyone provide me with a solution? Will sending an email to the PF commissioner help me, or might it put me in further trouble?

Thanks

(Fact Checked)-The situation described requires both employers to cooperate for PF transfer. You can file a joint request with both employers to resolve the issue. Sending a mail to the PF commissioner could be an option if the employers are uncooperative. (1 Acknowledge point)

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-The suggestion to write to EPFO on Facebook may not be the most effective way to resolve PF transfer issues. It's advisable to follow the EPFO's official procedures for a smoother resolution.

  • Dear Friends,

It is not a fault of EPFO. How does EPFO help you? How did the queriest Shubham-Sureka join another employment when he has not been relieved by his earlier employer? The queriest has to make a humble request one by one to both employers to differ the date of his leaving or date of joining. Generally, no one will be ready to take any risk of differing the date as suggested. Still, try your luck.

Recently, EPFO has permitted changing the date of joining and leaving by the member. This great loophole in the system can come to your rescue.

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-The information provided is partially correct. It is possible for EPFO to assist in changing the date of joining/leaving for PF transfer. However, the user should follow due process and communicate with both employers for cooperation. It's important to resolve the overlap professionally.
