Hi,
My PF account has become inoperative as it is around 5 years old now. I want to withdraw the PF amount, and therefore, I have requested my previous employer to provide me with the forms for the same. I have received the forms/documents; however, I am not sure how to proceed further.
Please suggest to me how to proceed with the same.

Dear Ashishmisra78,
For PF withdrawal, Form 19 is used. For pension, Form 10D is required, and for the scheme certificate and withdrawal benefit, Form 10C is used. Once you have filled out the forms, please ensure they are endorsed by your employer and then submit them to the concerned Regional PF Commissioner's Office. It is crucial to make sure that your PF and pension fund amounts are paid in a timely manner by your employer.

As my account is inoperative, I am unable to verify the balance. However, as per the documents sent to me by the employer, the amount was paid until the last month of my job in the company. Therefore, it seems to be fine.

The PF department has made it very easy to access your account online through the website Epfo (Govt. of India). Use the last received PF information slip to obtain your correct PF number and register yourself in an easy process. Once registered, there are links to various operations, including an online Transfer Claim Portal.
Please note that online transactions will only be possible if your last employer is also a registered member with the PF trust. In case of any issues, download the required forms and personally submit them at the PF office where you are located. Approach the PRO for guidance.

The PF department requires an Indemnity bond cum affidavit when the withdrawal is 3 years after the last day of service. If you enclose the Indemnity bond cum affidavit, which can be provided by any court typist, it is possible to process your PF form.

Sir, please help. Excellent objective information provided by you.
I request your advice on the below problem in bullets. Thanks in advance; it's urgent!
- Inoperative A/C since March 2009, dormant for approximately 6 years (excluding service time, i.e., left in 2009, worked for approximately 2.5 years).
- The company has a PF Trust (registered in Mumbai), and I'm in Delhi; also, the work location was Delhi.
- As I left before 2011, online access is not available. The EPFO website shows not updated and a name mismatch.
- Currently unemployed for the last 2 years due to an accident. Also, the last company did not provide PF.
- How to proceed for withdrawal?
- Will it be taxed (unemployed currently and over 7+ years)?
- What about the EPS pension part? Also, how to withdraw?
- Company registered office in Mumbai and EPFO registration? But I worked at the Delhi branch. Also, current location?
PLEASE HELP!!!!

Dear Sir,
Regarding your query on online registration, please clarify:
If an account is inoperative or dormant for 5+ years, can one still register by entering their salary slip details online?
Thank you.
Best regards,
DS

Hi, I was with a company from May 2007 to October 2009. I had submitted Form 19 and Form 10C for withdrawal. Form 19 has been approved and I have received the amount, but the Form 10C status is still under process. Do I need to contact the EPF office for the same, or would it take some time for them to approve the 10C?
