Detail: In September, I joined a very reputable firm, and before that, I was working in a very good firm. I have all my original documents, but due to some misguidance, I forged and submitted them. I found out from my colleagues that my current company conducts third-party verification, so I immediately went to HR and told him the complete story. By the time the background check came out negative, I had already given my original documents. They re-initiated my background verification, which turned out to be positive. Due to an integrity issue, they requested my resignation, and I left the company in February. Now, I have been selected by another excellent firm. I informed them that I wasn't working for the last six months because I was preparing for an exam, and this time I have submitted all original documents up to September.
Queries:
1) Will the new firm where I have been selected be able to find out about my previous company, even though I have provided all correct information?
2) Is it possible for them to discover information about my previous company through my PF account?

From the sketchy details you gave, it is difficult to infer your actual background and to offer any actionable suggestions. I think you were ill-advised and took it without understanding the repercussions. Integrity issues are the ones that cause the most damage in a career. Do introspection with a career counselor. The damage is already done. Now, repair needs to be carried out in your career quickly. If you have received the offer, meet the concerned person and come out with all the facts before they find out themselves. This is the right opportunity for you.
Review your profile and state the facts as they are. If you are a good performer in the previous companies, state the achievements in your resume. Develop a good network with HR people. Eventually, you will definitely come out of this. All the best.

I have a doubt regarding PF contributions. PF contribution is typically 12% for both employees and employers as a norm. However, recently, many companies have changed their HR policies regarding PF matters. The new policy states that the employer will no longer contribute to the PF fund. Instead, if they choose to contribute their share, they will deduct the amount from the employee's salary. Is this the correct rule? Is it allowed according to PF regulations? If this approach is incorrect, what is the solution? How can we raise awareness among employees about this issue?

All statutory deductions like PF and Gratuity fall under the banner called "CTC." All employers deduct their contribution from the employee, except for some manufacturing companies. The company's ESI contribution is not taken from the employee since it is for a limited period until your gross reaches the limit.

My dear friend, forging documents, giving false and bogus information and documents will not help you in any way throughout your career. For every achievement, a sacrifice is also hidden.
I am not aware of your age. If you are a youth, these can be treated as a result of your "mischief" arising out of your age, vigor, or aggressiveness, related actions. If you want to climb up the ladder of your career, make yourself as "clean" without any manipulations. Mistakes committed need to be accepted by you. Also, learn a lesson from the mistakes occurred. Avoid shortcuts.
