We are involved in the manufacturing and application of certain products. Due to the lockdown situation, all our projects have been stalled. Currently, management is unable to pay full salaries/wages to employees.
I kindly request your guidance and insights on this matter. I would appreciate it if you could share the decisions/plans that other companies have made regarding salary payments for April 2020.

Not only your establishment but all other establishments across the country are suffering due to the lockdown. This situation of lockdown is not by choice but the call of the hour to keep all safe and healthy. To support the industry, the government gave relaxation in PF to employers and employees alike.
Now, it is the turn of the employer to come forward in this hard situation to help their employees. The employer has to pay salary and wages for the period of lockdown as per the government guidelines. You need to discuss with your employees for a solution because work is going to start at the end of the lockdown.
