Dear Jeevan,

A nice PowerPoint presentation - short and crisp. I really appreciate your designing skills, especially the formatting part. I have a few suggestions that might help you in being more effective.

1. A few pictures could be added in your PowerPoint presentation.
2. Various interview techniques and procedures involved in detail, like Group Discussion, Psychometric Testing, Behavioral Questions, etc., could have been included.
3. In terms of body language, a lot more could have been added. Especially, how to position one's hands, shoulders, posture, etc.
4. Well, everyone knows what questions are asked during the interview, though just a few know how to answer them. Rather than just questions, answers included could have made a difference.
5. An interview preparation checklist, company research form, etc., are some of the formats that could have been used. It will surely make your workshop more effective.

Dear Jeevan,

Thank you for sharing this PPT. It is a really good presentation. I also agree with Rahul's inputs on this. If you could incorporate Rahul's suggestions, that would make it even more awesome. Nevertheless, it is still a great PPT.

Hello,

I'm Mohammed Delil. I'm an HR expert in a central bank. It is a good initiative to discuss Interview techniques. However, I find the PPT elementary. It may be due to the fact that I expected detailed and comprehensive explanations about the kinds of interview techniques, how and when they are applied, who should carry out the interview, what kind of technique is appropriate for what kind of position or job, etc.

Moreover, it would be fantastic if Rahul Chhabra's suggestions are incorporated. I would like some experienced people in the area to add their inputs on the subject.

Dear All,

Thank you very much for your appreciation. Special thanks to Mr. Rahul for your comments, and I will definitely make it a point to incorporate the same. This presentation was only for one hour for college students; hence, it was purposely elementary in nature.

I also improvise while providing training, and therefore, details on body language and ways to answer questions were discussed during the training. I prefer to make the sessions interactive and use PowerPoint slides as a facilitation tool. Including everything on the slides can make it boring.

I absolutely agree with adding pictures, detailing body language, and using different formats. Thank you again for the feedback; it will certainly help me improve.

Dear Jeevan,

Your presentation is good and relevant. In modern times, some men and women dye their hair on the morning of the interview, which gives a peculiar look and creates an artificial impression in the minds of the interviewers. I had such an experience as an interviewer, where my colleagues were commenting on this. Therefore, it is advisable to dye hair at least two days before the interview. Manicure is also an important aspect to be considered, especially by women.

Entering the interview room with a smile, greeting with a good morning, being mindful of body language, waiting for the interviewer to offer a seat, answering questions naturally and concisely, maintaining politeness and dignity, expressing opinions/views candidly, honestly, and politely are some of the qualities that will enhance one's chances of securing a job or promotion. It is crucial that young individuals are taught these fundamentals from a very early age.

Congratulations once again on your excellent PowerPoint presentation on this topic.

Hi Jeevan,

Your presentation was useful, but it doesn't seem different from the existing ones on the internet. In fact, some of the content was an exact copy-paste. I hope you don't take this negatively, but please avoid this in the future.

Thank you.
