Hi All,
Great Day!! I need support/advice here. I am currently conducting interviews with over 5 years of experience in the recruitment field. I have conducted almost 4 interviews, and each time I have progressed to the final round. We also discussed expected compensation and notice periods. However, I have not received any feedback since then.
I find myself daily reflecting on those discussions to understand if I made any mistakes, but I can't pinpoint anything wrong as the interviews seemed satisfactory for both parties. Can you suggest why this is happening? Do I need to improve something, or should I consider it as unfortunate circumstances?
Thanks,
Shilpi

Hi Shilpi,
If you feel that you gave your 100% in the interviews, then it seems like just a phase to me. I would suggest you follow up with the companies you interviewed with and seek feedback. I know there can be strange reasons why HR professionals do not select good candidates.
Keep on appearing for interviews, and I hope you will be able to secure a better job soon. All the best!

Hi Atul,
Thank you for your support and valuable time. I followed up with a few of the companies for feedback but received some unreasonable responses. I will keep in touch for further advice.
Thanks a lot.

Dear Shilpi
You have a compendium of quotes from Mr S Kumar to boost your morale and motivation.
If I may add a couple of more to that wonderful list, please read these.
YOU HAVE BEEN SO NEAR YET SO FAR
A SMALL SLIP BETWEEN THE LIP AND THE CUP
Introspection about a failure is good for self improvement, but it should not be done to the extent of wreaking havoc to one’s self confidence. Failures make a person have a stronger resolve for future situations.
There are many inexplicable things that happen in our life and you should take this one also in your stride. With four decades of experience, I too had a similar one couple of years ago, regarding an overseas assignment. Sometimes we are destined for better things. The best way is to forget and forge ahead positively and seek other opportunities.
