I have worked in all the departments of the apparel industry like PPC, Production, Maintenance, quality, compliance, administration in senior management positions. At present I am working for an apparel company as General Manager - HR, Admin & Complicance.

Thank you for the message... i have just joined an apparel unit..which is run by a group which is 50 plus years old and this particular unit is in its 2nd year of existance.. we have a staff strength of a bout 80 people and workers including trainees around 500.
one of the main issue we face is the high turn over.. being in coimbatore we have a lot of competition.. except those who are in apprentice schemes go away with in 6-12 months of joining.They have been recruited here mostly form chennnai /banagalore etc with 30-40 hike in CTC and they go away with a hike of 30 % minimum!!!
next i would like to get some details about the HR and Motivation practices that are followed in the industry as our management is very much intrested in the welbeing of our employees.
