Note: Dearness Allowances (DA) should be added to the Basic Salary fixed for the respective Scheduled Employment based on Zones, Cadres, or Designations to determine the Minimum Wages.

Please find attached a copy of the TN Govt's Gazette dated 21st March '17 relating to the MW for the Chemical Fertilizer industry. According to this Gazette, the MW for an unskilled helper works out to Rs 9253 (Rs 5963 + Rs 3290).

According to the notification, an unskilled worker in a warehouse should be paid wages ranging from Rs. 2359 to Rs. 2494 and dearness allowance (DA) of Rs. 3886 from 1st April '17.
