Hi all,
I m new to this forum though I go through the postings quite regularly. I am heading a Training Department in a Software Services organization. My main job responsibility is Training coordiantion as well as Soft skills development. I am a Psychology graduate. My question goes out to all the experienced T&D professionals. I m confused about what other qualifications I should acquire; should I pursue an MBA in HR, or a Diploma course in Training & Development from ISTD Delhi? I wish to remain in the T&D field. Kindly advise. :?
Thanks,

hi,
in short term a diploma in T & D will be very useful and its your expectation to be in the T & D business. But in the long term MBA would add more value.
option would be for you to first complete T & D and then go for an MBA. now this would depend on the period of the Dilpoma in T & D.
meanwhile you can also attend T & D or HR workshops at the company expense conducted by professional organizations.
