Dear Ritu,

You could have mentioned the nature of your industry, your finished product, number of employees etc. Training requirements vary from one industry to another and one company to another. As far as basic information on importance of employee training is concerned, abundant material is available on the Google.

Training is conducted to bring organisational change. However, this organisational change cannot happen on its own. To bring out this change you need to bring positive change amongst its people. This positive change comes through training. Nevertheless, never forget that employee training or people are only the medium of change. The end result is organisational change. Therefore, your focus should be on "organisational change" and not on "experts". Taking advantage of your gullibility, there are many self-certified "experts" who could take you for a ride.

Earlier I have given comprehensive reply on the concept of employee training. Go through the following link to refer it:

In addition to this, I have uploaded my presentation on Youtbube on employee training. You may go through it. The link is as below:

In this link, there are further links. Go through all the links which are my replies to the queries raised by the past participants. Develop the training plan or training calendar. Further assistance will be given if sought for.

Thanks,

Dinesh Divekar
