Dear Vini,

The whole automotive industry relies on supply chain efficiency. Therefore, managing supply chain is key to your growth.

However, managing supply chain is much easier said than done. For this you need to have long term relationship with your vendors. It is not just long term relationship but it should be collaborative relationship as well. Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) has shown to the world that by treating vendors as business partners, how you can improve the competitiveness of your enterprise. You can implement best practices of TMC.

To do all this first you need to train your procurement professionals. For this, the right programme for you is "Strategic Procurement" You may click here to know details of this programme. If you wish to refer my profile, then you may click here.

In the field of purchase and inventory management, I do whole lot of programmes. If you wish to download the list, then you may download the attachment.

I have already conducted training for one automotive company located at Whitefield area of Bangalore. Another automotive major from Chennai had sent me to Pune to train their procurement professionals on "Negotiations Skills for Procurement Professionals".

Thanks and I look forward to here from you.

Dear VINI
For sustainability and growth of any business organization, training is a must for it's employees which should be an ongoing process and should include both Technical skills and Behavioral competencies including soft skills. On need based training you need to undertake a survey of the employees beforehand
and take suitable actions accordingly .Trainings should be both participative and interactive so that the purpose is more fruitful.
Any further assistance, may pl contact .

Hi Vini,
On the manufacturing side of an industry you have to focus on supervisory skills, crisis communiication, conflict mangement, some leadership and mangerial skills programs. For front line sales persons there are retail outlet sales and product trainings which would be useful. Most auto manufacturers would already have quality and safety programs in place. If you want us to support you professionally, or need some more specific inputs, do write to me at , it would be a pleasure to revert.
We do have considerable exposure in both manufacturing and in automobiles industry. Regards, Pramod Akula
