Sr. HR MANAGER
I have started a new IT company and plan to recruit 20 new employees . While most of the details have been finalized and the company is up and running , I was planning to frame out a decent training programme for the employees . However , as I am new to the field of IT sector , and my previous job was as a mechanical engineer in one of the leading multinational firms I have very little knowledge about training programme for IT employees . I request all of you to kindly help me out in drafting a well balanced training programme for my employees .All help is appreciated . Thank you .

Dear Sr. HR MANAGER,

Are you owner of the company or "Sr HR Manager"? If former then you need to share more details with us. Is your's a product company or service company, what kind of projects you have, who would be your customers etc. Based on this, you can plan training.

However, if you are "Sr HR Manager", then nature of your query is not consistent with your designation. By now you should have understood how to conduct the Training Needs Analysis.

Anyway whatever role you have in your company, since you are going to employ 20 new employees, you need to make very strong induction training. Click on the hyperlink to know the details.

Secondly, when you recruit 20 employees, set their goals for six months or year. Find out what skills are required to attain those goals. You can conduct training to develop skills to attain those goals.

Lastly, refer my following reply. This reply was found very useful to large number of members:
