Hi,
Its been 3 months now that i quit my job and till date i did not get my full and final settlement, I sent them mails, spoke to the concerned representative, met the representative personally too. when nothign was happening, I spoke to the Head of the department but still my settlemet is not done. I did not get my releiving letter as it is given with the full and final settlement.
As per the policy the HR department mentioned that it will take max 45 days for the full and final settlement.
I want to know if I can sue the company for the delay.

Glad to find this site, hope I'll get solution to my issue.
I am from Chennai worked for Public Ltd. company for one and half year as Senior Software Engineer. I served 3 months notice period. On my last working day in that company, have been told by HR as - "in 45 days my final settlement done. He issued relieving letter, experience letter but not last months salary of about 40K, its been three months now i quit.
I was keep on sending mails to HR, Finance to settle my account since a month, he replies as he is working on. After meeting him personally for two days, he issued income tax computational sheet in which he shown my last month's salary i.e., of November'11. I also brought this issue to Vise president and HR Head, delivery head but nobody is taking any action.
Also I am hesitating to go for legal actions as that is a reputed company, is more powerful than me. Request your good self for solution to my problem. Thanks.
