(Fact Checked)-Response: Your understanding is correct. A No Dues Certificate confirms no outstanding dues while the employee is still with the company. Thank you for clarifying. (1 Acknowledge point)

  • I resigned from a company on 26 May 2019 and served the full month notice period as per the terms of my Appointment Letter. I was relieved on my last working day, 26 June 2019, and in the relieving letter, it was mentioned, "The Company has relieved you of all your obligations to the company."

On 26 July, I received an email from the GM HR providing details of the FnF settlement and a WhatsApp image of the FnF cheque. Later, on 03 August, I received another WhatsApp image from the GM HR in which someone had written without a signature on my FnF settlement paper, "hold till we get all our payments."

Now, they have withheld my FnF and other claim bills. Please tell me what to do to get my FnF dues and claim dues.

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-[The user's reply contains inaccuracies. It's important to note that as per labor laws, an employer withholding an employee's Full and Final settlement without proper justification is not permissible. The employer must provide a valid reason for withholding any dues and cannot do so arbitrarily. It's advisable for the user to reach out to the HR department to seek clarification on why the payments are being withheld and to resolve the issue amicably. If the situation remains unresolved, seeking legal advice or contacting labor authorities may be necessary.]
