Hi Chaitali,
I have gone thru the PPT on HR. I have no better words except to say "excellent presentation". This would help the freshers to understand what is what in HR. Practicing HR functions in a professional manner is endless explorations. Many HR personnel exploit the situation in unethical manner and defame the function. There is no dearth of rules, regulations and law to handle HR function. But the bottom line is "deal in a humane manner". One should never forget that that other person is also a human being. Dealing with personnel in totality is the key to HR.Of course, within limits as prescribed.
Once again, three kudos to you. Pl. keep it up.

HR - Heart of business is thought provoking topic.....i have woked as HR in sales organisation, where everything ends at BUSINESS.....bottom line is profit........It is true that we HR are supporters....and have to support each and every members in the organisation...but sometimes HR is not given that much importance in the oraganisation....it is true everywhere...intensity of the same varies from company to company..
Still, i am proud to be in this field....thats y i m here....and i truly considered HR - Heart of business...without our support organisation cannot function properly....

HR today is marginalized. Most Managements have no idea how to use their human resource. Most HR people do not know how to deal with such managements.
